Just finished reading Subterranean by James Rollins.  It had thrills and chills, a fun cast of characters, an interesting subterranean world with a lot of variety, devious creatures with lust for human blood, humans, near humans, and even beyond humans.  And it had good doses of humour, and didn't take itself too seriously.

Finished reading The Copper Scroll by Joel C. Rosenberg last night.  When I discovered that the book I bought and had started was actually a Christian apocalyptic novel in disguise as a "Fiction/Suspense" novel (according to the book jacket), I knew it would be tortuous times ahead for me.  I couldn't exactly fly back to Denver to return the book ( Read more... )
